You Gotta Read This Article and His Book!

Joy Peeler with Mike Moehrl is a big inspiration in my life when it comes to faith, spirituality, positive outlook, reaching goals and not giving up. Here is a man paralyzed from the neck down that was blessed by God to be saved and used on this earth as a messenger to all - about God's love, God's presence being real, that you can do all things through Him.

Mike has successfully run three businesses since his accident, given motivational speeches to adults and youth on life, held a prayer group at his home all these years and who knows what else that I don't know about. What I DO KNOW is when you meet Mike, it will change your life.

Mike's web site Moes Appaloosa's was designed and is maintained by Diamond D Graphics. Mike has bred and sold Appaloosa horses all his adult life and also runs his Trailer Sales Business at his acreage south of Marshalltown. Mike has been a long time Diamond D customer. I've done photo shoots for Mike at his farm as well. My daughter, Laura, was Mike's Professional Horse Trainer for a number of years and showed Mike's Appaloosa horses successfully across the United States. She and Mike have a close relationship.

Mike recently finished a book on his life and my daughter Laura, grandson Emmett and I visited Mike and bought his book. No - Mike can't autograph his book, but he has a stamp of his signature that the nurse put on the book for us.

(Even my grandson could tell that God was very important in Mike's life. When we left Mike's that day, little Emmett said to me, "Grandma, Mike had Jesus over his bed.")

Mike was paralyzed in a horse accident in 1982 and his book describes his accident and his life challenges since that terrible day. The book is a must read. Mike's book is one of the most inspiring books I've ever read. When you read his book, you will understand his survival was planned.
